It's exceptionally cold and unusually wet for the Sunshine Coast at this time of year.
It's our quiet time....
...which makes it an excellent time to visit Peregian Beach Village for a spot of retail or body therapy.
The village has grown into the fashion capital of the Sunny Coast, and is lined with unique boutiques and homeware shops.
It has some of the best health & well being therapists.
There are cosy spots to gets good coffee or a pot of tea, and Pitchfork has the heaters burning under their awning for a long lunch with friends.
There is a fabulous new art gallery on the south side of the square.
Don't forget to send this on to all your New Zealand friends who will soon be able to fly to the Sunshine Coast direct from Auckland.
We should be back to beautiful winter weather next week.
