Those were the days

No shops....just the beginning of the village square.


Rumours that the pool was still intact & just filled in with soil were quashed when we found pieces of the old trapezoid shape concrete pool during construction of the new stage.

The shape of the picnic tables set around the square and the curved handrails on the end of the stage platform, echo those good old days.

A time when there were less rules & regulations.

    That Premier group is referred to as the Barclays Recognized League designed for sponsorship arguments. It is known as a British competent league designed for football teams. Twenty teams contest from this league.
