This is a sectional drawing of the proposed redevelopment of the Four Squares Supermarket Site in Peregian Beach Village which is currently being assessed by Council's Planning Department.
The current proposal includes shop & restaurant on the ground floor and 3 office tenancies on the first floor.
What's really exciting about this proposal is the building design has climatic intelligence, (taking full advantage of the ideal north east aspect) and has been designed by local Architects who work out of the adjoining building in the village.
Architect Dan Sparks has responded to a community need for irrigation in the town square and the design proposal has a dedicated 23,000 litre rainwater tank for Peregian Square.
Above is one of the presentation drawings included in the Development Approval Application, looking at the building from the pedestrian crossing at the north end of the village square.
