On the front page of the Age newspaper last Saturday was a story about the small coastal town of Barwon Heads. It was about how the essence of what made the place special was being lost with it's growing popularity.
People from the City have been buying up properties, charmed by it's relaxed atmosphere and sense of community, yet not understanding that they also needed to contribute to it, if they wish to retain this special quality of place that attracted them here in the first place.
Barwon Heads was one of the locations for the TV series, Seachange.
It has a similar population to Peregian Beach.
